The Garmin GMS 10 Network Port Expander is the nerve centre of the Garmin Marine Network, allowing anglers to connect multiple Garmin chartplotters and sensors together in one integrated system. This robust 100-Mbit switch is designed to support the connection of multiple multifunction displays (MFDs) and sensors to the Marine Network, delivering Ethernet-like data transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than some competitive systems.
The GMS 10 is completely plug-and-play, meaning all peripherals are automatically detected and readily accessible once they're connected to the network, and expanding the system is as simple as plugging additional units and displays into the GMS 10 network ports using standard data cables. Rugged construction specifically designed to withstand the corrosive marine environment includes fully water-resistant connections and sealed covers to keep harmful moisture away from unused data ports. LED indicators provide individual line status at a glance.
