Description
The Garmin GPS 24XD Marine Antenna To Suit NMEA 2000 is a precision multi-band GNSS position receiver with integrated magnetic heading sensor, delivering location accuracy to within 1 metre for compatible marine chartplotters, instrument displays, and autopilots. The multi-band design uses multiple frequencies and global satellite navigation systems including GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BeiDou to provide dependable position information even in challenging marine environments with partially obstructed sky views.
A fast 10 Hz update rate delivers smooth, high-sensitivity position tracking during acceleration and manoeuvring, whilst the built-in magnetic heading sensor provides heading accuracy to within 3 degrees regardless of speed, stabilising chart displays, radar overlay, and MARPA targets even when the vessel is stationary or moving slowly. Multi-SBAS compatibility corrects signal measurement errors for optimal accuracy.
Connects directly to a standard NMEA 2000 network using the included 6m Micro-C cable and T-connector, making installation genuinely plug-and-play. Water-resistant to IPX7 with under-deck, pole, and surface-mount options included for flexible installation.
