Description

The Garmin GpsMap 1253xsv Chartplotter Without Transducer is the 12" flagship of Garmin's all-new GPSMAP X3 Series, featuring a sleeker design, powerful processing, and an upgraded IPS display with 50% more pixels than previous-generation 9" GPSMAP units. The higher-resolution 12" IPS touchscreen delivers improved sunlight readability and wide-angle visibility for confident use in bright Aussie conditions, whilst the compact footprint and higher processing power make it easy to integrate into any Garmin marine ecosystem. Note this is the standalone unit only, sold without transducer for anglers upgrading existing setups or running Panoptix LiveScope as the primary sonar.

Built-in Ultra High-Definition SideVü and ClearVü scanning sonars deliver vivid, high-contrast colour palettes that help distinguish fish from structure, whilst 1 kW CHIRP traditional sonar capability handles deeper water and bigger targets (transducer sold separately). Panoptix and Panoptix LiveScope compatibility allows anglers to see live real-time sonar all around the boat. Full network capability includes Garmin Marine Network for sharing maps, user data, radar, and IP camera video between multiple Garmin devices, plus NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 for autopilot, VHF, AIS, and Fusion-Link audio integration.

Built-in Wi-Fi pairs with the ActiveCaptain app for OneChart, smart notifications, software updates, and Garmin Quickdraw Community data. Purpose-built for serious offshore anglers chasing Aussie species including snapper, coral trout, red emperor, nannygai, sweetlip, mackerel, and pelagics on tuna and marlin missions, plus impoundment and inshore setups running Panoptix LiveScope for barramundi, this unit delivers premium X3 Series performance at a genuinely accessible price point.
