Description
Description
The Rovex Radion SH-D is a compact, powerful overhead reel built to cover several demanding fishing techniques. The CNC-machined aluminium body and side plate create a rigid platform around the drivetrain that resists flex under load, giving the reel a solid feel when fighting powerful fish while keeping the spool, main gear and pinion correctly aligned. The deep aluminium spool holds PE2/300m or PE3/200m, letting you select heavier braid without sacrificing practical line capacity.
The SH-D really shines on light vertical jigging for snapper and reef species, where the 7.3:1 gearing quickly recovers slack as the jig is worked and the long single CNC-machined metal handle with large EVA power knob gives you serious winding leverage. It is equally at home casting big swimbaits and hardbodies at impoundment barramundi and Murray cod, with the 6-speed centrifugal braking system dialling in spool control for different lure weights, and the deeper spool also makes it a solid pick for trolling applications including lead core work for trout.
Rovex Radion SH-D Overhead Reel
- CNC-machined aluminium body and side plate - rigid platform that resists flex and keeps the drivetrain correctly aligned under load
- 8+1 stainless steel bearings - smooth operation across casting, jigging and retrieving in both fresh and salt
- 10kg max drag - substantial pressure for controlling fish around reef, timber and heavy structure
- 7.3:1 high-speed gear ratio - quickly recovers line when jigging, casting or clearing trolling spreads
- 6-speed centrifugal braking system - adjustable spool control to suit different lure weights and casting styles
- Deep aluminium spool - PE2/300m or PE3/200m capacity for jigging, big-lure casting and trolling with lead core
- Long single CNC-machined metal handle with large EVA power knob - extra leverage for winding under load and a secure grip when working jigs
- Infinite anti-reverse bearing - tight, direct feel with minimal handle back-play when setting hooks
- 284g weight - compact and manageable all day on the water
- Available in RH and LH wind - identical performance in your preferred retrieving configuration
