Selleys Kwik Grip Horizontal Contact Adhesive 500ml is a heavy-duty, solvent-based polychloroprene contact adhesive formulated specifically for bonding materials on horizontal surfaces such as marine carpets, vinyl flooring, foam, and rubber. Providing an instant bond on the contact of two treated surfaces, this adhesive is heat-resistant to 130 degrees Celsius and delivers water resistance that makes it well-suited to the demands of a marine environment. The 500ml size is a practical choice for medium-sized jobs and repairs aboard a vessel.
Applied to both surfaces and allowed to become tacky before joining, the adhesive forms a strong, flexible, and durable bond that resists dilute acids, alkalis, and moisture. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, it bonds absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces including timber, metal, rubber, vinyl, and fibreglass, providing a versatile solution for boat fit-out and maintenance.
