Description
Sikasil Marine Adhesive Neutral Cure Sealant 75g is a premium, one-component silicone sealant that cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture to form a permanent, flexible, and waterproof seal on a wide variety of marine substrates. Adhering effectively to fibreglass, metals, glass, most plastics, varnished timber, and painted surfaces, it offers excellent resistance to UV radiation, weathering, thermal cycling, and vibration - making it an ideal solution for sealing windows, hatches, deck fittings, and instruments aboard a vessel. Its neutral cure formulation means it is non-corrosive and safe on sensitive substrates.
The sealant achieves a skin time of approximately 10 minutes and is tack-free within 20 minutes, with full cure to a 3mm depth reached within 24 hours. Featuring an elongation at break of 600 percent and a service temperature range of -50 to +250 degrees Celsius, Sikasil Marine provides a durable and flexible seal that accommodates movement in the hull without cracking or debonding, maintaining a watertight barrier over the long term.
