Description
The Thermacell Backpacker Mosquito Repeller is a compact, lightweight mosquito protection device designed for use in backpacking, hiking, camping, and fishing in environments where personal repellent alone is insufficient. Powered by a small butane cartridge, the Backpacker heats a replaceable repellent mat that releases allethrin into the air, creating a zone of protection up to 20 square metres around the device that effectively deters mosquitoes, sandflies, and midges. The compact design and minimal weight make it suitable for carrying in a pack or fishing bag on day trips and multi-day expeditions.
The flameless, odourless operation makes the Thermacell Backpacker a practical and unobtrusive way to establish insect protection during stationary outdoor activities - particularly effective when set up at a campsite, on the bank during a fishing session, or at any stationary location where insects are active. Requires Thermacell Backpacker refill cartridges for ongoing use.
