The Waterline Universal Twin Intake Dual Outboard Motor Flusher is designed for high-powered outboard motors that require a greater volume of fresh water through the cooling system to achieve a thorough flush. The dual feed design delivers water simultaneously to both intake ports, maximising water flow and ensuring all cooling passages are flushed effectively in a single operation. This type of flusher is particularly suited to larger and higher-horsepower outboards where a single-feed round or oval flusher may not deliver sufficient flow to properly clear the cooling system of salt and debris.
Connecting to a standard garden hose, the flusher is held in position by a robust spring-steel frame whilst the motor runs at idle for five to ten minutes. Regular flushing after each salt water outing using a correctly sized flusher is one of the most effective maintenance steps for preserving the internal components of large outboard motors.
