The Nomad The Buffalo Jr. 20g Metal Jig Lure is the largest and heaviest option in the Buffalo Jr micro jig platform, bringing the highly effective Flash Fall design into a compact light-tackle package with the extra weight needed to reach deeper zones or cast further into headwinds. Retaining the original Buffalo's centre-weighted balance, exaggerated flutter sink action, long hang time, and flash fall attraction, the 20g Buffalo Jr is engineered for shallow-to-mid water applications where slower sink rates and finesse presentations are essential.
Purpose-built as a light-tackle flash fall jig, the 20g delivers maximum visual attraction and extended strike-zone exposure whilst still reaching deeper structure than the smaller sizes. Fast-sinking jigs can leave the strike zone too quickly before fish get the chance to react - the Buffalo Jr is designed to slow things down. Ideal for estuary jigging, shallow reef fishing, light offshore applications, finesse casting, vertical jigging, and targeting pressured Aussie species including snapper, coral trout, mackerel, and bonito.
