From all the Team at Tackle World Bundaberg, we hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and are looking forward to seeing in 2017 in style, hopefully with some new fishing gear that Santa may have left under the Christmas tree.
Well, the fishing around the Bundaberg area has improved this past week. Maybe it was the small amount of rain we had, so the coming weeks will tell, and more rain won’t hurt.
With the school holidays set to start this weekend, and Christmas only a few weeks away, this is always a magic time to wet a line around the Bundaberg region.
The rain we had around the Bundaberg area earlier in the week was again well-needed. Although it has not put any flow into the rivers, this rain never goes astray. What it has done however, is put our water temperature high and mangrove jacks love this kind of weather.
Well, how’s this for timing? At this stage it looks like the winds will drop out just nicely to line up with the second Coral Reef Finfish closure which will run from Saturday, 26th November until Wednesday, 30th November.
Well, it sure was good to see some rain around the Bundaberg area out of last week’s storms. Not only was it well-needed, but I’m sure it should help the fishing in the rivers.
Well, how hot did the weather get this week around the Bundaberg area? The warm weather brought the water temperatures up and got a few of the summer species really fired up.
Well, aren’t we lucky to be living in this magic part of the world? The days are warming up and this weekend the weather is looking great to get out and wet a line somewhere around the Bundaberg region.
