Hope everyone has recovered from the Anzac long weekend. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great, but it was still good to see that some good fish were caught around the Bundaberg area.

Well as the days are just starting to cool down and the first signs of autumn are upon us, this is generally a magic time of year around Bundaberg.

All in all it hasn’t been a bad week weather-wise around Bundaberg, and the weekend’s forecast is looking good to get out and wet a line.

Hope everyone has recovered and enjoyed the Easter break this year. We were fortunate that we had some magic weather last weekend and by the sounds of things most people made the most of it.

Well it’s nearly that time of the year where the Easter Bunny will be out and about. This is also the start of two weeks of school holidays. This is always a magic time to get away either camping or just spending some quality time on the water with your family.

Fingers crossed this weekend looks like a cracker at this stage. Light winds are forecast Friday and Saturday, so there might be a small window for the reef fisherman to get out and re-stock their freezers.

Once again the fishing around Bundaberg will have to be restricted to the rivers and impoundments, with 20-30 knots south-easterlies predicted for this weekend. Now summer is finished, let’s hope some good weather is just around the corner.

Beacuse it’s my weekend to work, I’m tipping that the fishing around the Bundaberg area will be fantastic this weekend.
