Isn’t it great that the temperature around Bundy has just started to cool down due to the South Westerly’s blowing up from down south.

Hope all the school kids have enjoyed their second week of the school holidays. Luckily enough we had some great weather around the Bundaberg area last weekend, and at this stage it looks like this weekend will be another cracker.
Hope everyone enjoyed the Easter break last weekend and the Easter Bunny was kind to the kids around the Bundaberg area.
Other than the odd shower the weather was fairly good all through the weekend and by the sounds of things, lots of people went fishing and caught some nice fish.
With light winds expected, the weather forecast for the Bundaberg area looks okay for the start of the Easter holidays. Unfortunately there’s a good chance of light showers and thunderstorms most days.
Unfortunately the weather forecast for the Bundaberg area for this weekend doesn’t look the best with winds up to 25 klms per hour expected to pick up from the south east.
Luckily enough the local rivers have been producing good numbers of quality fish during the past week.
Finally, this weekend’s weather forecast looks like a fantastic chance to get out and chase a feed of reef and pelagic fish. With the wind predicted to be under 15 knots all weekend and the new moon on Friday, it should be worth a go.
The two low pressure systems up north are not expected to impact on the Bundaberg region very much at this stage, other than to produce reasonable south-easterly winds that might make offshore fishing a little uncomfortable.
G’day, Guys.
Well, with the full moon coming up on Friday night and the weather forecast for the Bundaberg area looking like the winds will be up around 15 to 20 knots from the south-east, at this stage it might be a bit lumpy offshore this weekend.
Luckily enough the Bundaberg area had only minimal damage and was not badly affected by Cyclone Marcia as she passed about 200 klms inland around Monto last Friday.
G’day guys. Unfortunately with Cyclone Maria expected to hit the Queensland coast between Rockhampton and Bundaberg early on Friday morning, the forecast is for strong winds and heavy rainfall over the next 48 hours.
