Hope all the school kids had a fantastic break over the school holidays and managed to get Mum or Dad out into the great outdoors to catch a few fish.

Earlier this week saw a small break in the weather offshore from the Bundaberg area, and a few boats managed to get out.
Well, the offshore forecast for this weekend is not looking too good for the Bundaberg area, so you’ll have to concentrate on fishing the creeks and rivers.
The annual Volunteer Marine Rescue Family Fishing Classic will be held over this weekend at the VMR base at Burnett Heads. This year there is over $50,000 in prizes including two boats to be won.
During the past week the weather around the Bundaberg area has been a little up and down, but by the weekend it looks like the showers will have cleared with a fine weekend predicted.
Unfortunately, the weather forecast for the Bundaberg area for the coming weekend doesn’t look great. The south-easterlies are predicted to strengthen towards the end of the week and ease a little over the weekend, restricting any fishing to the local rivers and dams once again.
