The full moon on Wednesday night this week will mean big tides and lots of run. The weather for this weekend around the Bundaberg area doesn’t look too bad with winds expected to be under 10 knots and the skies mostly sunny.
It’s been another week in paradise up in this part of the world. Hope all the kids have enjoyed the school holidays and the parents who had time off had a great break as well.
The weather around the Bundaberg area has been a bit mixed during the past fortnight or so. Earlier this week a few bigger boats had a small window of opportunity to sneak out wide and by all reports, most boats did very well. At this stage the weather looks good for most of next week.
Well, the warm weather has really started to kick in around the Bundaberg area with the past week bringing almost typical summers days. With this the water temperatures have risen and turned on some awesome fishing, with most river systems really putting on a show.
Doesn’t it feel great now that the first signs of summer are already upon us?
At this stage the weekend weather around the Bundaberg area is looking like a great chance to wet a line, with light winds expected right through until Monday.
However, it looks like there will be a fair ocean swell running, pushed up from the large low pressure systems down south.
It was nice to see most areas in the Bundaberg region receive some nice rainfall last weekend. It was certainly handy and I’m sure everyone enjoyed the sound of the rain on the roof.
The fishing in the Bundaberg region during the past week has been fantastic. The days have definitely got a lot cooler and it has not been uncommon to see frost covering everything outside.
With some cold mornings now upon us in the Bundaberg area, it certainly makes it harder to get out of bed and go for a fish. There are still many opportunities to go and target your species of choice.
