This weekend it looks like it will be all systems go around the Bundaberg area for our local rivers and dams.
Unfortunately we will just have to wait and see what the offshore forecast shapes up to be.
With the first signs of summer starting to show up, the warm northerly breezes are starting to lift the water temperatures around the Bundaberg area. The only downfall with the full moon will be the amount of run in the tide for the offshore anglers as there will be over three metres difference
For this weekend, keep an eye on the forecast for the Bundaberg area. At this stage, light east north-east winds under 15 knots are predicted, so it looks like a great chance to get out on the water and enjoy what the weekend has to offer.
Isn’t it great that the days in the Bundaberg area are slowly starting to warm up, and before long it will be time to start chasing the summer species like barramundi and mangrove jack.
The weather forecast for the Bundaberg area for this weekend looks like it will be okay, but the winds will be slightly stronger than the previous two weekends. This will restrict most of the action to the close inshore reefs and the local rivers and dams.
Wasn’t it great to see some decent weather fall over a weekend? And at this stage, this weekend is shaping up to be another cracker for the Bundaberg area.
Finally, the weather forecast for the Bundaberg area looks okay to get out and wet a line. For the offshore boys, just keep an eye on the change that is meant to come through sometime on Monday. However, with a bit of luck there might be an opportunity to get stuck into some quality reef fish o
Hope all the school kids had a fantastic break over the school holidays and managed to get Mum or Dad out into the great outdoors to catch a few fish.
Earlier this week saw a small break in the weather offshore from the Bundaberg area, and a few boats managed to get out.
