The past week has seen some fantastic fishing around Bundaberg, both offshore and in the estuaries.
The guys who got a chance to head offshore were well rewarded with some monster red emperor, cod, coral trout, big sweetlip and a good bag of the usual mixed reef fish.
The offshore fishing around the local Bundaberg area has been a bit quiet with only the usual mix of hussar, parrot, sweetlip and the odd snapper, trout and rd emperor.
There has been a few cobia and spanish mackeral taken also.
What an excellent spell of weather we have had around the Bundaberg area this week.
With the winds primarily from the south-east, we should be looking at around 10-15 knots.
